‘She texts me saying she feels attacked’: Pizza shop employee pushes their task load onto new hire, continues to slack off after new hire pleads with them

New hires get the short end of the stick—they are hazed in an attempt by veteran employees to get new kids on the block to pay their dues. I never believed in this, as every hire (new and old) deserves the same amount of respect. However, you see this kind of stuff happen in every company and establishment, whether the mistreatment is a conscious decision or not.

It stinks being the new hire in most cases, though. Your new coworking peers have a vendetta against you for some unknown reason, and then you pay the price until even newer freshmen enter the mix. Will you choose to face the adversity head-on, rewriting the script for the new hires to come? Or, will you dump your entire workload on them in an attempt to correct the karmic plane before it's too late?
